We Are Called To Bless Our City
In the last few months as we are facing this global pandemic, the Indonesian government has raced to implement various regulations to minimize the negative impact from the situation. Many have struggled to go through this pandemic and not the least in Semarang, Indonesia.
Indonesia is still on the high wave of this pandemic and as a church we need to continue praying for this country. Even more, with the blessings God has given us we are called to bless our city. IFGF Semarang has given direct giftings to the local community, doctors and medical workers, pastors and local churches as well as security officers.
Some of the donations that were distributed by IFGF Semarang are:
- 700 groceries packages, rice and masks for residents in Peterongan village
- 100 rice packages and masks for Semarang Tengah Police Force
- Complete PPE packages to 10 hospitals and community health centers in Semarang
- 2500 rice packages and rice to 64 churches in Semarang and its surroundings
- Financial support for 170 pastors in Semarang and its surroundings
Despite this difficult situation, we need to remember to always be a blessing for our neighbours. We also need to remember to always follow a strict health protocol by using a mask, keeping a safe distance and washing our hands regularly.
