Strategic Training Eastern Indonesia– Palu, Sulawesi
Strategic Training region 8 Eastern Indonesia in Sulawesi (Southeast, Central, and South) and Gorontalo was held at Palu for two days from 19-20 February 2020. This strategic training was held at IFGF Palu, and was attended by 45 Pastors and Leaders from the Local Church and the House of Fellowship (TPI) in the area around there.
The event was held with the aim of: discussing and training each leader to sharpen outreach through IFGF Care and spiritual growth through Discipleship Journey.
The event was opened by Ps Martha Yuwono as Vice President (VP) Region 8 by giving teachings on Greater Blessing and how to build Leadership that impacts our environment. After that, Ps Juzar Malaha provided each leader with IFGF Care’s strategy and how to reach out souls and how to do Discipleship Journey in the form of workshops and field practices so that the Leaders not only understood the teaching but could do it in their respective services as well.
The first day of the event ended with a heart-to-heart question and answer session that greatly blessed each participant to obtain various solutions and correct understanding of the services that exist within the scope of the IFGF church.
The second day Ps. Abraham Yuwono opened the training with the teaching of the importance of building a strong character as the basis of the ministry of God’s servants. For that every servant of God must get along well with His word to be able to build good character in service. After that, Ps Juzar provided participants with IFGF culture and bylaws and introduced the online church reporting system for Eastern Indonesia.
The last day was closed with a prayer and an altar call for God’s servants led by Ps.Harni Manuel. After that, all participants did a Coffee Together, a heart-to-heart event, a place for the Leaders to express what they experienced and their longing in service to the DPW team that was present.
Thank you to IFGF Palu for preparing this event so that it can be carried out and also specifically to Ps Agung and the team, as the Area Coordinator who have welcomed every church participant with enthusiasm, hospitality and love. Let’s pray that IFGF Region-8 can continue to grow and reach out many souls and get close to know God.
