Ministry Trip to IFGF Myanmar
Myanmar is a developing country located in Southeast Asia. At present Myanmar’s population has exceeded 55 million, and around 7-9% of them are Christians. Ps Erna Iskandar (VP Region 1) accompanied by Ms. Pita, took a ministry trip to visit and gave training to IFGF Myanmar leaders on 6-8 February 2020.
IFGF Myanmar currently led by Ps Philip Tang, located in East Dagon, about 20 minutes (by car) from Yangon. Ps Erna has visited IFGF Myanmar Church, to an orphanage led by Ps Philip (Currently Ps Philip has 30 foster children) and also taught in the Bible seminary led by him.
With a big theme “Greater Blessing”, Ps Erna conducted leadership training and explained Discipleship Journey for Ps Philip one on one, and certainly training for all young generation in IFGF Myanmar. She also introduced and taught using the IFGF Global application, how to get info and sermon material from there. On the sidelines of the activity, she was also invited to be the main speaker at the graduation ceremony (there were 12 graduated people) from the seminary led by Ps Philip.
Ps Erna invited IFGF Myanmar, including the young generation who were there to take part in the 2020 Conference in Jakarta (6-7 August). Let’s pray that IFGF Myanmar will progress and make an impact on people in Myanmar.
