Prayer Walk for Bali

Prayer Walk for BALI

Pastoral Team of ICC IFGF Bali, Indonesia has been planning for a Prayer Walk event since last year, which was almost postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, as the team was preparing for the prayer walk, God gave peace, courage and wisdom to ICC IFGF Bali to proceed with the event.

This prayer walk titled #PeaceForMyCityBali, was held weekly during September 2020. There were 4 prayer points in the event; peace for the city and the country (Indonesia), harmony in relationships, freedom from bondage of sin and prosperity for the people.

For the event, ICC IFGF Bali divided Bali into 15 main areas from Denpasar to Nusa Dua. 110 people from IFGF Bali as well as other churches participated in the prayer walk. In accordance with the health protocol, participants were divided into small groups of 4-5 people and masks must be worn at all times. IFGF Bali believes that good seeds were planted during the prayer walk and that those seeds will grow and be fruitful in Jesus’ name. IFGF Bali encourages others to make this prayer walk as a lifestyle to pray continuously for the place we are in. Especially for Bali, so it is won for Jesus.

Other than Prayer Walk, ICC IFGF Bali continues its city care program through giving out care packages to its church members and community members who are in need. More than 433 packages, which include daily necessities, have been distributed since April to Bangli, Gianyar, Bedugul, Ubud, Jimbaran and other areas. Although some areas are restricted because of Covid-19, ICC IFGF Bali was and is faithful in their giving and striving to give their best to help others until the situation is getting better. ICC IFGF Bali would like to express their gratitude to everyone who has participated in the city care program. May God bless us all.

“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
