Be a blessing
On July 2, an IFGF in North East India, West Siliguri-Benggala in conjunction with World Harvest distributed 50 groceries packages including rice to those in need near Jaigaon borders. There are many people struggling to fulfill their daily necessities as an impact of borders closure in the region. This is especially true for those who are day labourers as they lost their income and unable to provide for their family. Among them, are also believers in Christ.
On July 3, IFGF also distributed relief packages to 25 families who live in the epicenter of Covid-19. As it is a redzone, the area is quarantined and the residents are limited to travel beyond the area. In this condition, even groceries shopping becomes an issue. However, praise God that church is still able to be a blessing. Using each opportunity available during this pandemic, the church is able to show love and kindness to its surroundings, especially those who are in trouble.
IFGF India is grateful for the generosity of the sponsors who donated and oversaw the aid distribution, ensuring that the donations were well received. An appreciation is also given to Dr. Daniel Hanafi and team who have worked hard for this. It is our prayer that many people will feel God’s love through the work of IFGF and World Harvest. May our work bring light and hope that will lead others to know and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
