IFGF Baptism in April

IFGF Baptism in April

Baptism is a sign of repentance for people who want to enter into a new life with Christ as taught by the Apostle Paul and written in Romans 6:4 “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

Therefore, IFGF churches around the world consistently conduct baptisms for those who decide to repent and acknowledge Christ as their only Lord and Savior in their lives.

In April 2023, several IFGF churches around the world held baptisms. First, on April 4, baptisms were conducted at IFGF Auckland, followed by baptisms in Kapataran and IFGF Jayapura. Then, coinciding with Easter, on April 9, 11 people decided to be baptized at IFGF Jakarta. On the same day, a baptism was also held at IFGF Palu taking place at Tanjung Karang Donggala Beach and at IFGF Wellington, alongside the Easter retreat.

On April 10, during the retreat, IFGF Sydney baptized an individual, with the ceremony officiated by Pastor Gerald Goenawan from IFGF New Zealand. Then, another baptism was held at IFGF Manokwari on April 10; and on April 18, the baptism was officiated by Pastor Sari at IFGF Christchurch.

Or don’t you know that all of us
who were baptized into Christ Jesus

were baptized into his death?
