Update IFGF San Francisco
IFGF San Francisco is one of the IFGF churches in America, led by Pastor Fendy Hutomo. In 2023, several activities will be held by IFGF San Francisco, beginning with the Chinese New Year celebration that falls in the first month of the year. The event held on January 22, 2023, was an effort to preserve Chinese traditions. Unmarried children and youths received red envelopes from those who are married. Then, the event continued with a communal meal.
Chinese New Year 
In March, IFGF San Francisco held a Volunteer Appreciation event with a Hawaiian theme, with food that matched the theme. Various games were organized to enliven the event, and gifts and awards were prepared by the pastoral team. We are grateful for every volunteer who is willing to serve in God’s house amid various commitments.
Volunteer Appreciation 
On April 7, coinciding with Good Friday, one of the care groups in IFGF San Francisco, the San Jose Care Group, celebrated Good Friday together, featuring Pastor Hendra Wong as a speaker. On that occasion, Pastor Hendra delivered a message of hope in suffering, followed by Holy Communion led by Pastor Fendy Hutomo. The event then concluded with a shared lunch. On the same day, IFGF San Francisco also held a Good Friday service with Pastor Devi Tjakra as the Word bearer and Holy Communion led by Pastor Fendy Hutomo. The service that day ended with a communal dinner.

Good Friday
On Sunday, April 9, 2023, commemorating Easter, IFGF San Francisco held an Easter service. The Easter celebration was filled with hope through the message about “What happened in the Garden of Gethsemane,” and Pastor Fendy Hutomo shared three key aspects of the resurrection. An Easter celebration wouldn’t feel complete without a shared lunch, children’s praise and worship, and an egg hunt, which was certainly fun for the kids.
Passover Celebration 
We are grateful that IFGF San Francisco continues to stand strong to this day, and we pray that this church will increasingly make an impact and bring many souls to know the love of Christ.
