Easter IFGF Kathmandu
Every year, believers commemorate and celebrate the birth and death of Jesus Christ. The significant days celebrated by Christians carry deep meaning and wisdom. Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus, the Savior of the world. Meanwhile, Easter is a commemoration of the sacrifice of the Savior sacrifice on the cross to redeem the sins of mankind.

We recently celebrated the resurrection of Jesus Christ, more commonly known as Easter. Believers worldwide celebrate Easter with joy because Jesus, who died on the cross to atone for our sins, has triumphed over death. To mark this occasion, one of the IFGF churches, namely IFGF Kathmandu, led by its senior pastor, Ps Philip Fisherman, held a unique event by conducting a Gospel rally.
The Gospel rally involved walking with the congregation for 7 km along a Kathmandu road, declaring His resurrection. Additionally, approximately 7000 brochures were distributed to people along the route.
Spreading the Good news is indeed a part of our calling as believers so that more and more people can hear and receive the good news of salvation. Celebrating Easter by sharing its significance with others is one way to spread this good news. Through this year’s Easter celebration, we hope to deepen our understanding of Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, and through our lives, help more people to discover the love of Christ.
Happy Easter everyone!
For God so loved the world that he gave his one

and only Son, that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have eternal life.
