A Story of God’s Love Among the Indigenous Children of Lampung
The light of Christ’s love is slowly shining among the indigenous Lampung children through iCare, an initiative led by IFGF Lampung 3 Church.
It all began in a simple way by teaching the children how to read.
Once they became fluent, the ministry team invited them to watch animated films about the story of Jesus.
After watching, they opened their Bibles and read together the same story they had just seen. The meeting continued with a shared meal.
Before going home, each child received a small allowance to help with school needs. But the most precious moment was not their ability to read or the small gifts they received it was seeing some of them open their hearts and receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
This activity takes place regularly every Monday at 5:00 PM, where ten indigenous Lampung children gather not only to learn reading, but also to know more about the love of Jesus Christ.
