Discipleship Journey
Discipleship class in IFGF Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia is still on the move during this pandemic as it is aligned with IFGF mission: “People is Our Mission, Connect with God, Make Disciples”. This can happen because of the currently available technology, such as Zoom. Discipleship Journey Batch 2 in 2020 was done to ensure the spiritual growth of the church members. Even though the classes were not done in a conventional way, the participants were still excited to join this Discipleship Journey.
The classes were held on 14 & 21 June for 2 hours each session. 34 people participated in this batch and 2 of them decided to give themselves to be baptized. The baptism was held on 21 June. Through this class, new volunteers and ICare leaders were raised.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:19-20)
Let each of us be willing to be discipled and to discipleship others so everyone will hear the Good News. Let us grow and be fruitful in God in the midst of this difficult situation.
