Appointment of Noky Herens Lembong as Associate Pastor
By God’s grace, on Sunday 28 June 2020, IFGF Oarai Japan held an appointment service for Ps. Noky Herens Lembong as associate pastor. Mr. Noky and his wife Mrs. Hanna, together with their son and daughter have been members of IFGF Oarai for the last 15 years. Ps. Noky and wife went through a long Discipleship Journey in ministry by starting to minister in the worship team before recently appointed as an associate pastor.
7 years ago, Ps. Noky offered his house to be used for iCare. He also started teaching in iGrow classes. Then 3 years ago, Ps. Noky felt God was calling him to go deeper in ministry so he went to International School of Ministry (ISOM) under Ps. Caleb Supratman’s decision who is the senior pastor of IFGF Tokyo, Oarai and Gunma in Japan.
After the proposal and consideration of the appointment in the late 2019, Ps. Noky was preparing for the associate pastor test and declared pass in early 2020. Thus, the Executive Leadership Council (ELC) decided to elect and appoint Noky Herens Lembong as an associate pastor under Ps. Caleb Supratman’s pastoral team.
Due to the current condition, the appointment service was done through Zoom. Ps. Joseph Tamba from IFGF Singapore as Region 4 VP and Ps. Caleb and Lusi from IFGF Japan prayed for Ps. Noky. Praise God for graciously giving a smooth service. Let us pray that God’s anointing and guidance be upon Ps. Noky and Hanna throughout their ministry and family life.
