WORSHIP CONFERENCE IFGF MANADO

From February 27 to 28, 2026, IFGF Manado played host to a powerful Worship Conference series. Many responded to God’s call, choosing to return to their first love.

Equipping True Worshippers
Throughout the two-day event, 147 participants gathered not just to worship, but to be deeply equipped. Ps. Joshua opened the congregation’s perspective through the Essence of Worship session, sharing a vision of what God is currently doing through worship across Indonesia.

The teachings went deeper as Ps. Ferry discussed the Heart of Worship, followed by an interactive Panel Talk with Mike, hosted directly by Ps. Lingke. Moving beyond theory, participants were equipped with practical skills through a Breakout Session titled Expression in Worship, where vocal classes were mentored by Ps. Ferry and Mike Kusika, while musical classes were guided by Evan and Raisa.

Unity in Diversity
The conference served as a tangible testament to the beauty of unity within the Body of Christ. Attendees reached far beyond Manado, bringing representatives from cities such as Tondano, Tateli, Gorontalo, Ambon, Tobelo, Tahuna, Mariri, and Makassar. A spirited ecumenical atmosphere was also strongly felt with the presence of brothers and sisters from cross-denominational churches, including GILGAL, GROW, BETHANY, and GPSDI, uniting in heart to learn and grow together.

The Pinnacle of God’s Presence at Worship Night
The entire series of events and impartations culminated in a powerful Worship Night on February 28. The atmosphere, saturated with God’s presence, was incredibly tangible. That night was not just a closing service, but a moment of personal encounter with God.

As hands were raised and worship ascended, joy and peace flowed, filling the room. Many hearts were restored, faith was strengthened, and a renewed longing to live as true worshippers was ignited. IFGF believes that:

  • From worship flows healing.
  • From worship, hope is born.
  • From worship, God reveals His glory.

A powerful message and quote from this conference will continue to echo in the hearts of the participants:

“We worship not because God needs it, but because we need God. Returning to our first love means choosing to love God with a simple heart just like when we first knew Him, full of longing, sincere, and unconditional.”

God is raising a generation of worshippers from Manado who will glorify His name, not only on the church altar but also in their everyday lives.
