Renew Your Spirit in Lord
On Tuesday, 22 December 2020, IFGF Beracah Church Faisalabad, Pakistan which is a part of Region 6 held a Christmas celebration titled “Renew Your Spirit in Lord”. IFGF Beracah Church Faisalabad, Pakistan is ministering under the leadership of Ps. Parvez Yousaf with Ps. Nooren Parvez, who is Ps. Parvez’s wife, serving as the church’s pastor. Ps. Parvez Yousaf is currently ministering 2 churches, IFGF Beracah Church Faisalabad in Pakistan and IFGF K.S.A Saudi Arabia.
During their Christmas celebration, IFGF Beracah Church invited Christopher Christy to speak as a guest speaker in which he explained the meaning of true Christmas. Christopher Christy emphasized that as believers we need to have a correct understanding about Christmas and to renew our spirit during this season.
Other than the celebration itself, IFGF Beracah Church Faisalabad held a diaconia ministry by distributing groceries to widows, orphans and families in need regardless of their religion. All who received the aid packages were thankful to the donors and volunteers who participated in the program. This event shows that Christmas is really a season for giving and caring.
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
