IFGF Care Makassar, Indonesia
“Life is about Giving and Sharing”. This proverb became a real action for IFGF Care Makassar (Indonesia) through their diaconia ministry on December 5, 2020.
Diaconia ministry is a regular program at IFGF Makassar. Done twice monthly, IFGF Makassar distributed groceries and lunch boxes to the community every other week. This program is an act of love done by the church as their ministry to love their neighbours, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic.
Church members especially those who are part of the iCare Woman are in charge in this activity. As much as 200 lunch boxes are distributed to the rickshaw drivers, scavengers and orphans. Meanwhile, the groceries packages are distributed to church members who are in need.
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord and he will reward them for what they have done.”
