Prayer is Love in Action

Prayer is Love in Action

Valentine’s day has always been a long-awaited moment for many people to show love to a couple or their most beloved people. So, how can we pray for them during this celebration? Below are some tips and bible verses to help us to enrich our prayers for the people we love the most.

First, we must ask God to open our hearts and help us understand what we actually need. Colossians 1:9 says: For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

Second, we can ask for blessings and peace for them. In Jeremiah 29:11, God’s word says, For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.“

Third, we can also ask God to protect and lead them in their life along with the crucial decisions that they have to make. Isaiah 30:21 says, Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Lastly, we can ask God to strengthen their faith to enable them to do good and righteous things according to God’s command. Galatians 6:9 says, Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Applying these bible verses can enrich our prayers for our loved ones on Valentine’s day. Prayer is our way to bring our problems and hopes before God and ask for His help. So do not hesitate to start praying for your loved ones today!

Happy Valentine!
