MISSION TRIP ACROSS AFRICA 2024
In our recent mission trip across five countries in Africa, we visited nearly 30 IFGF churches, including IFGF Zambia, IFGF Malawi, IFGF Tanzania, IFGF Harare, and IFGF Mozambique. The journey was highlighted by the ordination of 39 pastors:
- 14 pastors in Tanzania
- 7 pastors in Malawi
- 6 pastors in Zambia
- 6 pastors in Zimbabwe
- 6 pastors in Mozambique
We also held numerous conferences aimed at equipping and empowering leaders, youth, and women.
Day 01-02: IFGF Leaders Conference in Lusaka, Zambia
Our mission began in Lusaka, Zambia, with the IFGF Leaders Conference. Here, we ordained 6 pastors and appointed 7 more, officially marking the start of IFGF Lusaka.
Day 03-04: Establishing IFGF Lilongwe
Next, we traveled to Malawi, where we ordained 7 IFGF pastors and established IFGF Lilongwe. We also held a Leader’s Conference and planned for church planting in Blantyre.
Day 05-08: visiting IFGF churches in Tanzania
Tanzania served as our home base for the southern Africa region. With existing IFGF churches including IFGF Mwanza, IFGF Arusha, and IFGF Viwege, we ordained 14 pastors and held an event in front of our church, ministering to nearly 1,000 people. During the event, 18 individuals gave their lives to Jesus. On the next day, we held Youth and Women Conferences, focusing on empowering the younger generation and women in ministry. Looking ahead, we have a plan for church planting in Zanzibar and extending our reach to other parts of Tanzania.
Day 09-11: Growth and Expansion in Zimbabwe
The trip continued to Zimbabwe, where we revisited the established IFGF churches in Harare and Bulawayo. Since last year, these churches have been experiencing significant growth, with hundreds of new believers joining. We conducted the Leader’s Conference and held services in a tent, followed by Youth and Women Conferences. Our vision for Zimbabwe includes planting 55 new churches in various cities and extending our reach to Botswana, South Africa, and London.
Throughout this mission trip, we witnessed a tremendous response to God’s calling. We continue to pray for the establishment and growth of IFGF churches across Africa, believing in God’s plan for this vibrant continent.
