ASCENSION DAY CELEBRATION SERVICE
On May 9, 2024, IFGF Ende held a special service to celebrate the Ascension of Jesus Christ, attended by 40 congregants. Ps. Urbanus Steven Sewa, the speaker for the service, delivered a powerful message reminding everyone of Jesus’ promises and the Holy Spirit’s constant guidance in our daily lives. This service was not only a celebration but also a reminder of God’s boundless promises and love.
INSPIRATIONAL FAMILY SEMINAR
On Saturday, May 18, 2024, IFGF Ende had the honor of hosting Ps. Jonathan Kasmin, Ps. Max, and Mr. Agus Santoso. During the visit, IFGF Ende also organized an inspirational family seminar.
The event began with praise and worship filled with the presence of God. Following this, the event continued with an opening prayer and a main session led by Mr. Agus Santoso. The session focused on important aspects of creating a happy family, starting with effective communication between spouses. He also emphasized the importance of setting the right priorities, with God as the primary focus and family as the second priority.
The seminar also featured an interactive Q&A session. The event concluded with a prayer for family restoration, which strengthened and encouraged all participants. The atmosphere warmed further during a fellowship session where participants could interact more closely while enjoying a meal together.
PENTECOST CELEBRATION
The activities at IFGF Ende continued with the Pentecost Celebration service on May 19, 2024, with Ps. Jonathan Kasmin as the main speaker. This special service was attended by about 50 congregants.
As a gesture of respect and gratitude for their visit and ministry over the past few days, IFGF Ende presented Ps. Jonathan Kasmin, Ps. Max, and Mr. Agus with traditional woven scarves from Ende Flores, symbolizing the heartfelt appreciation of the congregation.
REVIVAL SERVICE
Concluding the month’s events, IFGF Ende held a Revival Service (KKR) on May 20, 2024, with 85 congregants in attendance.
Under the theme “A Piece of Wood,” Ps. Max Thenu invited the congregation to reflect on the story of God’s help for the Israelites as they left Egypt. He illustrated how God can use everything in our lives, even seemingly trivial or insignificant things, to fulfill His grand plans. This theme served as a powerful reminder to surrender and fully trust in God in all circumstances.
The KKR series began with greetings and an opening prayer, followed by a profound delivery of the Word. An altar call session provided an opportunity for personal responses from the congregation. The event continued with an offering, and expressions of gratitude, and concluded with a blessing prayer. The entire congregation felt greatly blessed by this KKR service and the presence of Ps. Jonathan Kasmin, Ps. Max, and Mr. Agus.
