Leaders Gathering & Vision Sunday IFGF Jakarta
On Saturday, 28 January 2023, IFGF Jakarta held a Leaders’ Gathering. Leaders Gathering is one of the events regularly held by IFGF Jakarta. This event is a moment and a means for Pastorals & their wives to fellowship with leaders who have participated in services at IFGF Jabodetabek as HCC, IHC, ICC, ICL, and CTL (Core Team Leader).
The leaders’ gathering was held at Balai Sarbini, Jakarta, and was attended by around 230 participants onsite. On this occasion, the founder of IFGF, Ps. Jimmy Oentoro was also present and shared the vision for 2023 with all the leaders who attended. All leaders were invited to continue to grow in character to become more like Christ “Alive in Character.”
And still in the same month, on Sunday, 29 January 2023, IFGF Jakarta and all Discipleship Centers in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) held an onsite Vision Sunday event at IFGF Balai Sarbini Jakarta. The Vision Sunday event was held jointly at Balai Sarbini and was attended by around 1,000 congregations (Adults, TYC & Kids) onsite. This time, Ps Jimmy Oentoro shared about “Alive in Character,” which explained that Integrity is the engine of character and our DNA as believers. All the congregations who attended were very blessed, and after the service, the assemblies were also able to fellowship together.
Let “Alive in Character” not just be an annual theme for us but become our DNA as children of God who impact on others so that many souls may be won through our lives. In the end, all glory belongs to God!
