Women Conference
On Friday – Saturday, 18 – 19 December 2020, IFGF Wadufe Church (Uganda) held a Women Conference called “Seek Good Not Evil”. This theme was taken from Amos 5:14. There were 3 main speakers for the conference; Ps. Steve, Ps. Luwate Moses Lado and church elder Alfre. 78 women participated in this 2 days conference.
Located in Bidi Bidi, Uganda, the world’s second largest refugee settlement camp, IFGF Wadufe organized this women conference as an oasis for women to refresh their spiritual state. The Word of God and activities that were held during the conference gave these women a renewed spirit.
“Seek Good Not Evil” talked about choosing goodness over negative actions. Throughout the conference, participants are reminded to choose and act good regardless of their situation or condition. Constantly following the word of God is not an easy path but as we are giving our life to God and making the decision to let Jesus be in control, He will surely lead our way.
In this Women Conference, 2 people received Jesus, 1 person decided to come back to God and 4 people received healing miracles. Praise God for his goodness and mercy. The event was closed with prayers for more than 30 women. It is our prayer that even after the event, these ladies continue to grow deeper and bear fruits in Christ.
Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.
