IFGF New Zealand Leaders Gathering 2025

Auckland, New Zealand | September 23–25, 2025

The IFGF New Zealand Leaders Gathering is an annual gathering for Pastors and Heads of Local Churches (Church Coordinators) across New Zealand. This gathering is designed to align our shared vision and mission, equip and empower leaders, and strengthen unity and relationships among leaders from cities throughout the nation.

This gathering is highly anticipated each year, as participants always look forward to reconnecting, sharing stories, and supporting one another through laughter, fellowship, and prayer. Following the regional Auckland lockdown in 2021, it was a great honor for IFGF Auckland to host the fifth IFGF New Zealand Leaders Gathering in the City of Sails, marking a meaningful moment of togetherness and restoration.

The three-day event was held from September 23–25, 2025, taking place at IFGF Auckland Church and the Naumi Hotel Conference Centre. Over the course of the gathering, leaders experienced times of teaching, prayer, worship, and meaningful connection.

This year, the gathering was blessed to welcome Ps. Andre Tjhin, IFGF Global General Secretary and member of the IFGF Bandung Pastoral Team, along with his wife Cynthia, as the guest speakers. Through their ministry, leaders were encouraged and strengthened to serve faithfully in their respective callings.

The teaching sessions focused on key leadership and spiritual themes:

  • Session 1: Leadership – Function Over Position
  • Session 2: Next Gen – The Runway
  • Session 3: The Heart of Worship

In addition to the teaching sessions, several special moments marked the gathering. New titles and responsibilities within the IFGF New Zealand Region were officially announced:

  • Ps. Gerald – Director of Region 6 (Oceania), Apostolic Team IFGF Global
  • Ps. Simon – New Zealand Country Manager
  • Ps. Hendry – Deputy Country Manager
  • Ps. Yonathan – Associate Pastor, IFGF Auckland

The gathering also included meaningful corporate prayer sessions, Holy Communion, and a Feet Washing Ceremony, symbolizing humility, unity, and servant leadership among the leaders.

To conclude the gathering, participants enjoyed a Family Fun Day at Rainbow’s End, New Zealand’s only theme park, providing a joyful time of rest, bonding, and celebration for leaders and their families.

The IFGF New Zealand Leaders Gathering 2025 was a powerful time of alignment, encouragement, and unity, strengthening leaders to continue building God’s Kingdom across New Zealand together.
