The Art of Pitching
On Monday, 22 November 2021, IFGF Surabaya held a marketplace seminar titled The Art of Pitching. The seminar was targeting young professionals who are starting their businesses, in order to equip them for expanding their budding businesses.
The speaker for this seminar was Andy Zain. He is the founder and partner of Kejora Capital, a venture capital firm. Andy Zain is an investor, businessman and the director and founder of Institute Indonesia. His name is renowned among digital technology markets, apps developers and young startups. In the seminar, Mr. Zain explained how to attract people with our ideas and more importantly, how to attract investors for our business.
Mr. Zain explained the importance of communicating our ideas clearly. This clarity will help to pinpoint many aspects in our business so we can get support in building our team, as well as gaining financial investments. To the 83 participants who attended this online seminar, Mr. Zain challenged them to pitch and present their ideas. This opportunity was well received as they received direct feedback from Mr. Zain on their pitching skill, as well as a short session to discuss their business direction.
We hope through this seminar (The Art of Pitching) the young professionals are equipped so they can achieve greater things and bring light in the marketplace.
