IFGF KIDS LEADERS RETREAT
RAISING OUR NEXT GENERATION TO BE ALIVE IN CHARACTER
2-4 February 2023 were three unforgettable days for the IFGF Kids Indonesia team. For the first time, a retreat was held for IFGF Kids coordinators and teachers, and 60 participants and volunteers attended to be blessed, strengthened, and given a new enthusiasm to serve children.
Through outstanding speakers, Ps. Sam Hartanto, Ps. Evan Tjandra, Ps. André Tjhin, Ps. Ancella Gunawan, Mrs. Yuni Harjono, Mrs. Melianawati Karjanto, and Mrs. Michelle Efferin, each participant received various insights, inspirations, and lessons to practice in their local churches.
Apart from that, each participant experienced the joy of meeting colleagues in the same service field from various cities, who eventually became good friends, brothers and sisters who always supported each other even after the retreat.
Through each game, discussion, conversation, and other exciting things, all participants become attached and are more enthusiastic because they know they are not alone in this ministry.

I was grateful during this event because I was empty before this event and filled when I was home. On the first day, I expected that Ps. Sam would know what I felt about it, which was beyond my expectations. When we prayed, I really could feel the Holy Spirit and God speak to me, that HE knows what happened to me.
My conflict with my church partner made me want to quit every ministry and church. So many people judge me without knowing the truth about me. I have so many fears when I do ministry, making me uncomfortable. First, I was looking for attention from people around me in the church, and I didn’t get it, then I felt lonely. But now I can say to myself, ‘it’s okay if they don’t know about me and judge me, but God knows me, loves me, forgives me, never judges me, and never leaves me alone!’
Thank you, Ps Ancella and all volunteers in this event. I can’t imagine that I’ll get this kind of experience. I promise I won’t quit my church but give my heart to them and all my kiddos.

Everything is excellent! Awesome! Everything was provided and prepared very well by All the committee. Each session also has just enough time, not too fast or long. The division of time and the program is also excellent. So we are not too tired. I could enjoy it while I was there. All are well prepared.
