NEXT GEN CONFERENCE 2022 – ELEVATE
Following the success of the 1st Next Gen Conference in February 2020 in Seattle, the North America region decided to hold a Next Gen Conference in 2022. The conference, titled “ELEVATE” was held on Saturday, March 5. Around 300 people from North America and Canada attended the conference. Due to the pandemic, the conference was held online. The committees were excited to see that some local IFGF churches and care groups gathered with their members to participate in Next Gen Conference 2022.
The conference was held to empower and encourage the next gen to build their lives, families, communities, local churches and cities as they learn from the amazing speakers. We believe that the time is now for the next gen to rise up. God is working amazing things in their lives.
More than just motivating next gen leaders, the conference aimed to equip them with answers for the many questions and arguments that they might encounter as Christians and leaders. The workshops available during the conference include a topic on LGBTQ with Jeff Simunds from Tower of Light Ministries, a topic on Sex & Dating with Ps. Irwan & Kelsie Ngadisastra from IFGF Seattle, Apologetics with Ps. Herman Ong from IFGF Austin, and Introvert/Extrovert Leadership with Ps. Aaron Myers from IFGF Tondano. Also invited as a speaker was Ps. Dylan Jones from Manna House. Some Next Gen leaders were also invited to share their life stories as they take a step of faith to serve the Lord.
As God’s church, we are excited because we see that God is working wonderful things in this generation. We hope that everyone involved was blessed through the Next Gen Conference 2022. See you in the Next Gen Conference!
