The First Sunday Service of IFGF Ambon
On Sunday, March 6, 2022 IFGF Ambon in Indonesia held its first onsite Sunday Service in 2 years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As we all know, our community is slowly going back to hold mass gathering as the pandemic ceases. The government has started decreasing the alert level as the number of infections decreases and the number of vaccination increases.
Although we still need to live with new regulations such as wearing a mask to reduce the possibility of infection, we are grateful to be able to have an onsite worship. Around 25 people attended the first service in IFGF Ambon which was led by the senior pastor, Ps. Leonard Tahya.
We pray that the condition will get better. We also pray that our leaders, in church as well as government, will have wisdom to lead well. May IFGF Ambon be able to grow and bring impact to the community, and lead more people to Christ.
For just as each of us has one body with many members,
– Romans 12:4-5 –
and these members do not all have the same function,
so in Christ we, though many, form one body,
and each member belongs to all the others.
