LEADERS HUDDLE 2026: LEADING FROM THE UPPER ROOM AT IFGF JAKARTA
JAKARTA – On May 30, 2026, IFGF Jakarta hosted the Leaders Huddle 2026 at Lippo Mall Nusantara, Jakarta. This event was specifically dedicated to iCare Leaders (ICL), iCare Coaches (ICC), Head Coaches, Department Leaders, and emerging leaders serving across the IFGF Jabodetabek region.
Carrying the theme “Leading from the Upper Room,” the Leaders Huddle aimed to remind every leader that amidst the myriad of responsibilities and challenges in leadership, they must continually return to the Upper Room—the place where hearts are restored, visions are clarified, and ministry direction is affirmed by God.
The Balance of the Upper and Lower Room A key message highlighted during the event was the necessity of establishing the Lower Room before building the Upper Room. The Lower Room represents the space where God’s people organize, build systems, and provide practical frameworks (including structures, systems, programs, and buildings). The stronger the Lower Room foundation, the more people can be brought into the Upper Room.
Through inspiring and highly applicable sessions, the approximately 200 attending IFGF Pastors and Leaders from Jabodetabek were invited to learn:
- New perspectives on Upper Room Leadership and Lower Room Leadership.
- A deeper understanding of the discipleship pipeline in leadership development.
- Principles for multiplying iCare groups in a healthy, effective, and sustainable manner.
