Shalom pastors, leaders, and members of IFGF Global,
As we move into the second quarter of 2026, the global environment has become increasingly complex. Ongoing conflicts across regions are affecting energy, trade, and the way businesses operate in many parts of the world. These are real pressures that affect all of us, directly or indirectly, in our work and responsibilities.
In a season like this, the weight of leadership becomes more real. The challenges we face are not only about navigating uncertainty, but also about remaining steady and clear under pressure. At the same time, we are not meant to carry this alone. As believers, we are reminded that our strength does not come solely from our own capacity, but from staying anchored in God. There is also strength in staying connected within marketplace community, walking alongside one another in real work contexts, sharing perspectives, and supporting one another in the responsibilities we carry.
The Marketplace Journal will continue to serve as a shared platform that accompanies our journey together in the marketplace. In this journal, we are encouraged through testimonies from marketplace leaders across IFGF churches, along with weekly devotions that help us stay rooted in God’s Word in our daily work. We also share reflections on what is happening around us, so we can remain aware and respond with clarity in this season. Through these, we hope to continue strengthening one another as we navigate this journey together.
I am praying for wisdom, strength, and endurance for each of you as we continue to carry our responsibilities and lead faithfully in our roles in the marketplace across IFGF globally.
