Strategic Training Region 1
On Saturday, 1 May 2021 an online strategic training (PESTA) was held for Region 1 consisting of Kalimantan, Sumatera and Qatar. This strategic training was held from 09.00 until 17.00 and was attended by 300 people. Participants from pastorals and TPI coordinators, department coordinators, care group leaders, care group coaches, L0, L1 and L2 were equipped through this training. As well as equipping the pastors and leaders, the training served as a platform where participants could build their fellowship. This is the second strategic training done during the pandemic. Through this online training, hopefully the participants could minister better at their own cities.
The training was divided into 4 sessions. Ps. Sammy Hartanto who is the General Secretary of IFGF Global and IFGF Bandung Senior Pastor delivered the first session titled A Present Church. The next session was by Ps. Jimmy Oentoro as the Chairman of IFGF Global and IFGF Jakarta Senior Pastor, who talked about Church in the New Normal. Ps. Erna Iskandar as VP of Region 1 delivered the third session called Summary & Follow Up. The last session was on Discipleship by Ps. Jonathan Kasmin.
Each session was ended with a Q&A time where participants enthusiastically asked questions to the speakers. The training became more exciting with a quiz led by Ps. Wilun of IFGF Lampung and Ps. Cahyo of IFGF Balikpapan. Other than that, there were powerful testimonies from Ps. Yohana of IFGF Mungkok Kalimantan and Ms. Vicky Lasono of IFGF Qatar. `
We are grateful for all speakers who have shared their knowledge and passion during the training. May the word of God that was spoken and imparted to the participants be received well and be used for His glory.
