Prayer & Worship IFGF Global – December 10, 2020
Prayer is a shield and source of strength for us Christians, as the Bible says that there is power in prayer. God is always listening to the prayers of His believers. Keeping this in mind, IFGF Global held a Prayer & Worship event on 10 December 2020. Led by Ps. Maria Tamba as IFGF Pray Director and Ps. Dave Rustanto (Senior Pastor of IFGF Yogyakarta), the event was held via Zoom. 38 people attended this event. Praise & Worship IFGF Global will be held regularly once every 2 months, with the next event planned for 11 February 2021.
Prayer should be like the air we breathe in, naturally becoming a necessity for believers. Through prayer and worship, we can connect with God and pour out our heart to Him especially during this period. As we pray together with fellow believers, our faith will be strengthened.
Ps. Maria encouraged the attendees to build their prayer life, both personal prayer and collective prayer as a church. It is our hope to see more pastors and intercessors in IFGF in the next Prayer & Worship events so we can continue praying for our cities and churches.
The most important thing to remember is that prayer is not a law that we have to follow blindly, but rather an act of love and surrender to our only Saviour.
