Baptism in The Midst of Covid19 Pandemic
Covid-19 pandemic has not ended yet in Indonesia but IFGF churches in Indonesia are still faithfully doing the work of the Kingdom. On 6 and 16 February 2021, IFGF Tomohon held water baptism for 2 of their members.
The water baptism was done for a 19 year old and a 79 year old. The events were held in 2 different places, IFGF Manado’s baptism pool and Bukit Tinggi Beach on West Kakas, Tondano, North Sulawesi. Both baptisms were led by Ps. Hendra Tawas as the coordinator of IFGF Tomohon. A strict health protocol was applied on both events to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved.
Currently IFGF Tomohon holds an onsite Sunday service at the 2nd floor of Cella Cafe and Bakery, Tomohon at 16.30 WITA. Care groups are also held in person, following the applicable health protocol.
