Diakonia Stage 3
This February 2021, IFGF Manado Indonesia held their stage 3 of diakonia ministry. This ministry was focusing on the victims of the flood and landslide disaster in Manado which happened in January.
There were 12 locations on focus during this ministry; Sario, Paal 4, Karombasan, Tikala, Banjer, Malalayang, Bahu, Winangun, Tingkulu, Taas, Perkamil dan Kanaan. As many as 100 families received assistance from the team at IFGF Manado.
This diakonia ministry brought a positive impact to the community, as testified by an elderly who was a community organization coordinator. He mentioned that the diakonia ministry from IFGF Manado has been a blessing for many people. Back in 2014, during the big flood in Manado, IFGF was the one of the first organizations to provide relief for the victims. The aid in the form of gas stoves, mattresses, building materials and groceries were greatly appreciated by the recipients.
So it is true, that the kindness and care which we did in Jesus Christ would bring a positive impact to our neighbours. Let us continue to do good and help others in need.
