Baptism in The Midst of Pandemic
2021 has come, yet the end of Covid-19 pandemic is still out of sight. However we praise God that we are still able to fulfill God’s command of baptism. On Saturday, 23 January 2021, IFGF Sintang (Indonesia) held a baptism done by Pdt. Drg. Ridwan T. Pane, MKM, M.Th as the senior poster of IFGF Sintang.
8 people aged 13-21 years old joined the baptism which was held in a public swimming pool, following a strict health protocol to ensure the wellness of all parties involved. Praise God that the event was going smoothly as planned.
Currently IFGF Sintang has returned to onsite service as Sintang is now considered a green zone. However, they are following the health protocol as the pandemic is not over yet.
As for the plan for this new year, by God’s grace IFGF Sintang is planning to open an early childhood center at the Tebelian Satellite Church and a primary school called Graha Mulia. Let us support IFGF Sintang in prayers for these plans.
