Free Meal Program – iShare IFGF Semarang
Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all aspects in our lives, from health to economics. As an act of compassion and empathy from the church to the needy, iShare IFGF Semarang, Indonesia holds a free meal program.
This free meal program is based on the church’s observation of the real damage that this pandemic has caused in the community. As God’s church, we should be a blessing to our community. In the last year, iShare IFGF Semarang has distributed meals daily to rickshaw drivers who are mostly elderly, scavengers, garbage collectors and the needy around the church. The church also educated them on how to correctly do the health protocols.
This program has been a tremendous help for the community during this time as it has been difficult for them to earn enough for their daily necessities.
May this program touch more people and may God’s church continue to be a blessing for the community.
