Together We Build
Ps. Emmanuel of IFGF Kenya and team, together with the church members is currently doing a fundraising campaign called Together We Build. The purpose of this campaign is to raise funds for the new worship center in Webuye, West Kenya. The new church building will be able to house 2000 people.
This 3 story building will cost approximately $250,000. As this is a huge amount, Ps. Emmanuel is inviting the church to stand together in realizing this dream and mission. We are grateful that the progress has been going well, from designing, erecting foundations, slab pouring, erecting of structures and now, building of balconies. The building process is not without challenges as the still needs a large amount of funds for completion. However, we believe that once completed, the building will be worship center where people can worship and fellowship together. The building will be a place where Jesus’ name is glorified.
The new church building will be used as follow:
- Ground floor which can fit 1200 people
- 2.1 floor or overflow which can fit 800 people
- 2nd floor for Bible College, Kids Church and praying room
- 3rd floor for church office and meeting rooms
Other than focusing on the church building, IFGF Kenya is also focusing on a health camp event. A free health camp was held on Saturday, April 2, 2021. The first one was held a year before on November 14, 2020. The cost for each event was around £5,000 and a similar event is planned to be held in November 2021.
Despite all the challenges faced, IFGF Kenya is moving forward in faith. To take small steps daily and to put Jesus above all else. Thank you for your continuous prayers for us. Together, we are stronger indeed.
