IFGF JAKARTA 34th ANNIVERSARY
This year, IFGF Jakarta celebrates its 34th anniversary. The church has journeyed through many highs and lows over these years.
The journey began on July 25, 1989, when IFGF was legally registered in Indonesia. This marked the beginning of IFGF’s mission to the nations. Truly, it has been a journey filled with God’s grace.
For the anniversary event held on Sunday, July 30, 2023, celebrations took place in two venues: Balai Sarbini & Dome of World Harvest Karawaci. The celebration was conducted during the Sunday service.
During the IFGF Jakarta 34th anniversary service, Ps. Jimmy Oentoro, the senior pastor of IFGF Jakarta and also the founder of IFGF, encouraged the entire congregation to be “TEGAR”. By “TEGAR”, he meant to shine bright (“TErang”) and be the salt (“GARam”) that impacts the people around us. On this special occasion, IFGF Jakarta also distributed the Gospel to 2,000 congregation members and encouraged them to join the movement of reading one chapter of the Gospel every day. Because, in truth, there’s no more loyal companion, greater helper, or teacher that knows us better than THE WORD itself. The Word is the greatest gift! For those who act upon the Word will witness how the WORD truly works in their lives!
Congratulations to IFGF Jakarta on celebrating its 34th anniversary.
