IFGF Gorontalo, Keep on Growing
This October through November 2021, IFGF Gorontalo, Indonesia, has proved its eagerness to keep on growing and be fruitful. 35 people have finished the i-Grow classes and 22 people have completed the i-Serve classes.
Also happened in November, 11 members of IFGF Gorontalo gave themselves to be baptised. The baptisms that was done in November were:
- 6 November 2021 : 1 young adults
- 13 November 2021 : 4 adults
- 20 November 2021 : 4 adults
- 26 November 2021 : 2 young adults

The baptism ceremonies were done in 2 different places, in the beach area and in a waterpark in Gorontalo. The events were done in compliance to the applied health protocol to ensure everyone’s safety.
On November 27, IFGF Gorontalo ministered to the Gorontalo Prison where they shared the Good News and distributed goody bags to the convicts. Other than the discipleship classes, baptism and the diakonia to the prison, IFGF Gorontalo also experienced growth within the church. Currently, IFGF Gorontalo is preparing to build their new church building. Let us pray so the process will run smoothly and the building will be completed as planned.
On the other hand, on October 31, 2021, a new church was opened, the name satellite IFGF GBC (Gorontalo Business Center) which was attended by Christian Trustees. This church is also pastored by Pastor Herdy Hutabarat who is also the pastor of the IFGF Gorontalo church.
We know that all that has happened in IFGF Gorontalo is only by God’s grace, not by our strength and might. Through His power, He has made things that look difficult to be possible and all this is only for His glory. May everything the church does become a blessing to the community so they will know Jesus and His love.
