IFGF Baptism in September

IFGF Baptism in September

As we enter the 9th month of 2023, IFGF churches scattered across various regions worldwide are once again conducting baptisms in September. Water baptism symbolizes the death and resurrection of Christ, as well as the new life found in faith in Jesus Christ.

The journey began with IFGF Duri, where 17 people were baptized—3 on Saturday, September 2nd, and 14 on Sunday. On September 3rd, three teenagers from IFGF Düsseldorf declared their new life with Jesus, and a mother was baptized at IFGF Tobelo. Moving forward to September 6th, IFGF Kathmandu, Nepal, baptized 8 people. On September 10th, IFGF Kupang held a baptism.

Two individuals received baptism at IFGF Kuta, and two more were baptized at IFGF Duri on September 13th. As we entered the final week of September, IFGF Yogyakarta administered the sacrament of baptism with 2 participants who chose to dedicate themselves to following God forever on September 23rd. The following day, September 24th, IFGF Jakarta and IFGF Bekasi took their turns in conducting baptisms, with 6 individuals dedicating themselves to follow God at IFGF Jakarta and 2 at IFGF Bekasi.

We are grateful for each of our brothers and sisters who have made the decision to acknowledge the Lord Jesus as the sole Lord and Savior in their lives. Let us pray that they will continue to grow and bear fruit in Him. Amen!”

Peter said to them, “Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

-Acts 2:38 (NET)-
