GOD’S SOVEREIGNTY
Over the past four months, we have explored the journey of the people of Israel through the book of 1 Samuel. We’ve witnessed many dynamics—prayers answered, leaders raised and fallen, battles won and battles marked by wounds.
There were moments when faith burned brightly, but also times when disbelief led them to choose their way. From the valley of tears to the heights of victory, one thread ties all these stories together:
God never stopped being God.
Human plans can change, circumstances can be confusing, and even the leaders we rely on can fail. But one thing remains:
God’s sovereignty never wavers.
A CALL TO TRUST AND SURRENDER
As intercessors, we often stand in the gap between what is unclear, unfinished, and unanswered. We carry the burdens of our families, churches, cities, and even nations—and there are times when we, too, ask: “God, where are You?”
But today, God reminds us that He is still God. He has never lost control. No prayer is too small, and no season is too dark for Him.
We do not pray to a reactive God, but to a sovereign One—who knows the end from the beginning and can use all things for His glorious purpose.
Therefore, our prayers are not merely requests, but declarations of faith:
That even when we don’t see it, God is at work.
That behind the silence, a plan is being formed.
That even when the answers are delayed, our hearts can remain at peace,
because God still reigns.
