Home Renovation for Kevin and Travena
In October 2020, World Harvest Indonesia (WHI) decided to do a house renovation project for Kevin and Travena, who are World Harvest’s sponsored children. Their house was in a poor condition and unfitted for living. Over the years they had leaks all over which caused some structural collapse in some areas. This house renovation project started with a complete demolition of the old building. A new house was built from scratch and it was finished within 1,5 months.
On Monday, 9 November 2020, the new house was ready to be occupied. Ms. Wiky Senjani as the Chairman of Pillar Community led the ribbon cutting ceremony as a symbol that the renovation project had been completed. Mr. Benhard as Community Manager handed in the key to Travena’s mother. Tears of joy and words of thanksgiving flowed out from the family as they received their new home. They were especially thankful that even in the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, God gave them a miracle through the hands of World Harvest Indonesia.
