Mission Trip TYC IFGF Manado
For the first time post pandemic, TYC IFGF Manado held a mission trip on June 18-20, 2022. The destination for this mission trip was Pare-Pare and Toraja in Sulawesi Island, Indonesia.
On June 18-19, TYC IFGF Manado ministered around Pare-Pare in which they visited houses to distribute groceries packages, bibles and also to pray for them. On Sunday, June 19, the crews ministered at IFGF Pare-Pare’s Sunday service and Kids service. All the ministry was done in accordance with the suggested health protocols.
Despite the low number of people being ministered, TYC IFGF Manado are grateful to receive positive feedback for this trip. During their ministry in IFGF Kids, it was found that not all of the kids are Christian. However, they welcomed the Gospel that was delivered by the team.
After the ministry in Pare-Pare, the team continued their journey to Tana Toraja. The event in Toraja was held on Monday, June 20 at Immanuel Rantepao Pentecost Movement Church, North Toraja. A praise & worship workshop was held in the morning and continued with a Revival Night in the evening.
The Revival Night was an amazing experience because youths and adults alike were touched by the Holy Spirit. Even the TYC IFGF Manado team also experienced the strong presence of the Holy Spirit in the Revival Night.
We acknowledge that the mission trip and all of the activities could go well because of God’s grace. Let us pray that more youths will grow faithfully in Christ and give their lives to bless others. Keep shining for Christ, TYC IFGF Manado!
