COVID-19 Child Vaccinations at IFGF Winangun
IFGF Winangun, Manado, Indonesia in collaboration with The Indonesian National Police (POLRI) held Covid-19 child vaccination for children in Manado on December 22, 2021 and January 14, 2022. The second dosage is planned to be given on January 22, 2022.
98 children aged 6-11 years old participated in this program. Parents and caregiver were also present during the vaccination to give comfort and to ensure that the kids were following the applied health protocols.
This program was held by IFGF Winangun as a form of support for the Indonesian government who is working to accelerate the Covid-19 vaccination within the country. Currently, the government is pushing for onsite learning in schools. Therefore, child vaccination is an important step as it provides children with protection against Covid-19.
We hope this program has contributed to the health of the greater community. Thank you to all parties who have worked hard in ensuring that the vaccination went well and safe.
Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.
