The Building of SD Graha Mulia (Graha Mulia Elementary School)
On Wednesday, August 25, 2021, IFGF Sintang, West Kalimantan, Indonesia held a groundbreaking ceremony for the building of SD Graha Mulia (Graha Mulia Elementary School). Currently the school has 8 students enrolling in the program.
5 years prior to this, IFGF Sintang founded TK Graha Mulia (Graha Mulia Kindergarten) on the ground floor of IFGF Sintang’s building. This kindergarten is popular around the area as the growth has been quite significant. 56 pupils in 5 classes are part of this Christian based kindergarten.
SD Graha Mulia is currently built exactly behind the church building. The fund used for the construction comes from the church members and Ps. Ridwan Pane through their commitment. The fund is managed separately from the church fund. For the initial construction, around 200 million rupiah was raised and the target for building this part is 2 months.
IFGF Sintang’s main objective in building the school is to win new souls through education. Let’s pray for this construction process to go as planned and for God’s name to be glorified above all.
