IFGF Regional Conference
On Wednesday, 16 September 2021, IFGF Sabah and Sarawak held an online IFGF Regional Conference through Zoom. Around 97 men, women and TYC from across IFGF Sabah Sarawak participated in the event, which was purposely established to reconnect members within IFGF Sabah Sarawak.
IFGF Regional Conference in Sabah and Sarawak invited 5 speakers; Ps. Yohanes Kusika (IFGF Bandung) , Associate Ps. Nikodemus Yasut (IFGF Sabah and Sarawak), Ps. Maria Francisca (IFGF Jakarta), Lay Ps. Jivet Laus (IFGF Sabah dan Sarawak) and Ps. Siten Rondy Daud (IFGF Sabah and Sarawak).
The first session was delivered by Ps. Yohanes Kusika who shared about unavoidable growth. In the second session, Ps. Nikodemus Yasut taught about how a positive growth of small groups (iCare) will impact the growth of a church.
After the second session, the conference continued with a talk show with 4 panelists; Peter Jangai (IFGF Bintulu Center), Lata Landa (IFGF Sg.Plan), Ps.Mariani Alih (IFGF Keningau) and Anisah Jastin (IFGF Kota Kinabalu).
A workshop session followed on with 2 workshop selections available for the participants;
- Men & Women: “A Home for Godly Family During the Pandemic” by Ps. Maria Fransisca
- TYC & Young Pro: “Shaping Characters” by Ps. Jivet Laus
On the third and last session, Ps. Siten Rondy Daud delivered a teaching for the participants to shift their point of view on church.
