IFGF Padang 31st Anniversary
On 13 September 2020, IFGF Padang, Indonesia celebrated its 31st anniversary. Ministering under Ps. Indra Effendi’s leadership, IFGF Padang acknowledges that this celebration can only happen by the grace of God. It is through His guidance that the church has been able to share the gospel, win souls, help many families to heal and to be discipled.
Due to the pandemic, the anniversary celebration was done online via IFGF Padang’s Youtube channel. Ps. Erna Iskandar from Jakarta was the guest speaker for the event and she talked about the hidden blessings behind trials. As James 1 : 2-4 says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
IFGF Padang is grateful for the last 31 years of ministry for the community, the city and the nation. There were many learning curves in building the church through discipleship and caring for one another. There were many challenges along the way but through those, our characters were shaped to be more like Jesus. IFGF Padang is devoted to the Great Commission, sharing the good news to all nations.
