IFGF KIDS SUMMER PROGRAM 2024
To fill the school holiday, IFGF Kids Jakarta held the Summer Program again, which took place over two days, specifically on June 17 and 18, 2024. With the theme “Plugged In”, the event was attended by 197 children, divided into 2 categories according to age: 115 children aged 8-12 years on the first day, while the second day was attended by 82 children aged 2-7 years.
This year’s Summer Program was inspiring. Through the sharing sessions delivered by Ps. Ancella Gunawan (IFGF Kids Pastor) on the first day and Mrs. Yuni Harjono (Director of Harvest Christian School) on the second day, the children were reminded to always stay connected with God because He is the best friend a person can have.
After that, the children competed while playing in the “Games Jungle Adventure” and participated in various fun workshop classes such as Robotics, Pivot Video Animation, Photography, Candle Decoration, Glitter Painting, Pottery, Beads Accessories Making, Wood Craft, Cooking, and Cookie Decorating. Specifically, on the second day, there was also a puppet show, playground, and Bouncy Castle, where the children could play while waiting to be picked up by their parents.
With the concept of “Jungle Adventure”, the children were very happy and enthusiastic while playing and adventuring in the jungle. They even gained experiences they had never had before, such as reading maps, building tents, touching eels, etc.
