Event Name: IFGF East Coast Retreat 2025
Date: November 27–29, 2025
Location: Ladore Retreat Center, Waymart, Pennsylvania
Throughout the retreat, leaders, families, youth, and children experienced fellowship, powerful prayers, impactful teaching sessions, and meaningful times of worship. The atmosphere was marked by unity, joy, and a shared hunger for God’s presence, strengthening relationships across churches in the IFGF East Coast region.
The main sessions were led by Ps. Sam Hartanto, who delivered a total of ten powerful teachings. Key themes included “Possessing the Gates,” “We Are the Gates,” “The Blessed House: God’s Design for Marriage,” “The Pearl of Great Price,” and “QARA – Calling.”
Through the QARA teaching, Ps. Sam emphasized the three foundations of calling for every believer: God’s Voice, God’s Character, and God’s Mission, encouraging participants to live out their calling faithfully in every area of life.
The Young Adult sessions (ages 18–25) were led by Sharon Gunawan, who shared relevant and impactful teachings on navigating life in the “new normal,” discerning which voices to listen to in a culture filled with counterfeits, and understanding what it truly means to be a worshipper. Participants were challenged to reflect on who or what they are truly worshipping in their daily lives.
In addition, Naf Hartanto led a special session for the women, ministering through a teaching titled “Honoring Your Husband,” providing biblical insight and encouragement for building Christ-centered marriages and families.
The retreat was also strengthened by testimonies from participants. Many shared their appreciation for the clear and impactful teachings, the strong unity among the five IFGF churches, and the joy of experiencing God together in person, after previously connecting mostly through online meetings. Participants testified that the retreat brought personal renewal, growth within their families, and closer relationships within the IFGF East Coast community.
IFGF Region 7 extends its sincere gratitude to all pastors, speakers, attendees, and volunteers who gave their time, prayers, and service to make the IFGF East Coast Retreat 2025 a great blessing. Through unity, commitment, and a shared heart for God, this retreat became a meaningful and memorable time in God’s presence.
