Worship and Impartation Night
On Wednesday, 5 September 2021, IFGF Bandung held a Worship and Impartation Night through Zoom. More than 350 people participated in this worship night, including IFGF Bandung, IFGF Timika, IFGF Manado, IFGF Batam and others outside Indonesia.
The event was held for 1.5 hours, starting from 7.00 p.m. WIB. Throughout the event, we could see that the power of worship and prayer is real. Although this event was held virtually, God’s presence was apparent in many homes as God is omnipresent.
Ps. Sam Hartanto, IFGF Bandung Senior Pastor and IFGF Global President, delivered a message called “Let Me Process This” which was based on 2 Corinthians 12 : 7-10. On many occasions Jesus said, “Yes” and on many occasions, God is polite. However, when God politely says ‘No’, at least 3 things are happening is our life:
- Something is ‘withered’ in our life.
God says no because He loves us so. He is protecting us from danger and withering the negative things from our life
- ‘Someone’ lives in us.
Don’t let the enemy process it for you. Let the Holy Spirit process us and live in us.
- ‘Peace’ rules over us.
In the middle of hardship, never let our situation rule over us. Rather, let God’s peace rule over our lives.
Either a yes or a no, I will grow in Christ.
Either a yes or a no, I will keep the faith
Either a yes or a no, I will continue to serve
After Ps. Sam finished sharing, the worship night continued with intercessory prayer led by Ps. Yohanes Kusika.
We hope everyone who attended this Worship and Impartation Night were rekindled by God’s Spirit. Moreover, may those who came with heavy burden received gladness for we believe in the power of prayer and worship.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions,
– 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 –
in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
