Diaconal Ministry
One of the satellites of IFGF church in Makassar, Indonesia carried out a diaconal ministry for its surroundings. In the midst of uncertainty we are facing, Ps. Jacob Darmawan as the main pastor started this diaconal ministry as a channel to spread the Gospel through love and care as a church of Christ.
Volunteer 
This diaconal ministry is done twice a month in the form of groceries distribution and lunchbox distribution. The lunchbox packages are made in house by the iCare Woman members. In each diaconal ministry, IFGF Makassar prepare 200 lunchbox packages which are distributed to becak (cycle rickshaw) drivers, scavengers, beggars and orphans. On the other hand, groceries packages are distributed to church members and church’s neighbours in need.
Responding to the needs of the community, IFGF Makassar has now added the groceries distribution to twice a month while the lunchbox distribution remains to be monthly. IFGF Makassar has proved that church can be a blessing to those in need.
