Online Christmas Celebration
On Friday, 4 December 2020 IFGF and World Harvest held a combined Christmas Celebration titled Christmas Blessings. This celebration was done online in accord of the current situation.
The Christmas Celebration was held from 4 p.m to 6 p.m and although the event was done online, the mood was festive and joyful thanks to the enthusiastic MCs, Elica and Catur. 154 people from IFGF and World Harvest attended this celebration.
Started with a welcome note and an ice breaker activity, the celebration was continued with a Christmas service consisting of praise, worship and the Word of God. Ps. Jimmy Oentoro as IFGF Jakarta Senior Pastor and IFGF Global Chairman shared the message on Christmas Blessings. Ps. Jimmy reminded attendees that “Christmas Blessings aren’t about the presents but about His presence. Jesus’ presence is the Greatest Blessings for human kind”
After the service, the celebration continued with a showcase from the face painting competition and TikTok video competition. The winners from both competitions were then announced. There was also an announcement regarding both IFGF and World Harvest’s staff activities. Ps. Jimmy Oentoro then closed this Online Christmas Celebration with prayer.
And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed.”
