Activities at IFGF Bandung Citylink in 2022
To kick off 2022, IFGF Bandung Citylink held a new year Sunday Service on January 2, led by Senior Pastor Henry Sugiono. The service was held online because during that time, the Covid-19 spread was still rampant.
In February, up to February 27, the weekly service was still held online. Within the limitations of the pandemic, Zoom was the best option available for Sunday service and care groups. The congregation was also faithfully attending the weekly service. Through this online platform, we praised and worshiped together, we prayed for each other and learnt the truth about the Word of God.
On April 22, a retreat/outbound activity was held to celebrate Easter. The pastoral team of IFGF Bandung Citylink, volunteers and church members gathered to strengthen their relationships with each other. Relationship is an important part of a church because we are all family in Christ.
Up until July 2022, IFGF Bandung Citylink’s Sunday Services were held via zoom to ensure that the congregation stayed connected to God even though they were unable to go to church. Then on July 13, 2022, IFGF Citylink started its hybrid service. The service was held on Sunday 09.00 WIB (open gate at 08.45 WIB) at ALIVE ROOM, Festival Citylink floor 3A, Bandung. As of today, the Sunday service is still held both onsite and online. This year, the church also celebrates its 10th anniversary which falls on July 1. To commemorate it, a thanksgiving service was held on Sunday, July 3 with a service, cake cutting, and appointment of new leaders of IFGF Bandung Citylink.
We are grateful for God’s grace and mercy for this church. We pray that IFGF Bandung Citylink will continue to become a blessing for the community.
