Water Baptisms in April
Praise be to God for in April 2022, IFGF churches around the globe continued to baptize people. To give oneself to be baptized is an act of faith that indicates his faith in Christ Jesus.
On Sunday, April 3, IFGF Plamongan Indah baptized 4 new souls. On the same day, IFGF Tobelo and IFGF Pematangsiantar also held water baptism. In fact, IFGF Pematangsiantar regularly holds baptism on the 1st week of each month. Water baptism doesn’t only happen on Sunday. On Tuesday, April 5, IFGF Wellington held a water baptism and on Wednesday, April 6, IFGF Semarang also held a water baptism. This joyful occasion also happened in IFGF Mariri on April 10. The person baptized also declared his willingness to be a member of IFGF Mariri.
As we remembered Jesus’ death on the cross on April 15, some IFGF churches also held water baptism. After the Good Friday service at IFGF Solo, 10 people were baptized to declare their belief in Jesus as the only God and savior. Also on Good Friday, IFGF Purwokerto baptized 3 people, 2 of whom are new believers who just converted to Christianity. Praise God!
On Easter Sunday, April 17, IFGF Timika had water baptism for 2 people and another water baptism was held at IFGF Timika on April 20.
We declare that all this happened by His grace. We believe that water baptism could happen and more people surrender their lives to be led by God because God has personally called them.
